The mega-canvas “One thousand angels and one painting” probably is largest picture that was exhibited not only in Prague, but even in Europe. The exhibition is being from 9th till 21st of July at the Incheba Praha Exhibition Centre.
The painting has area of more than 520 square meters, to the creation of which was used by more than a ton of colors. The canvas consists of thousands pictures and on each you will find an angel. Meanwhile every angel is no similar to the other.

The beauty and life
“The cultures of East and West are quite different. These cultures I try to combine in my creation - says the author of the mega-canvas. - When I had come to Prague, I saw and felt that all the same these cultures are very similar. I hope my angels say that's about it - the harmony of the world. And once I began to paint angels, to let people feel the beauty and joy of life”.
Twenty years of preparation
According to the most Lekim Ibragimov, a project idea came to him for about twenty years ago. And immediately, he began to work on the project for ten years. "It took me a lot of effort and tears" - said Lekim Ibragimov at the opening of the exhibition.
Organizers of project have chosen the first town for the exhibition - Prague. The next town, where she will be exposed - this is Madrid. Then she will go to Florence. Possibly that the mega-canvas will be travelled to the East, particularly to Kazakhstan. The highlight should be the exhibition in Moscow.
Note that by the decision of the artist, this project is a charity, and part of the sponsorship funds will be given to children disabilities who live in cities where the picture will be exhibited.
